Softgrass Music is the name of the record company as well as what I call the music I teach and support.
Its based on American and European root music. The name itself reflects of course on American Bluegrass. Softgrass is a bit smoother and not fixed to the tradition.
More like the Trio, Alison Krauss,
and Nickel Creek..
And we do not exclude old fashion Swing.
The girls in Abalone Dots are doing a great job singing three part scat solos.
It Is mainly acoustic music with very little and
careful drums.
It may also be a circle of friends and musicians that love this kind of music helping each other in
concerts and CD production.
Softgrass music also function as a helping hand for talented jung girls and guys in the community of Västervik.
